With these challenges and more bearing on water and sanitation services, regulators have been hard at work – often behind the scenes – to push the sector towards innovation, sustainability, and inclusion. This webinar brought together a truly global group of regulators to share their perspectives on what they are doing, what has worked well, and what the remaining biggest obstacles are. The webinar was structured as a virtual roundtable, with each regulator providing short (up to 4 minutes) interventions on their institutional and country experience on two questions: 1. What innovative solutions are regulators using to accelerate universal access, with special attention to marginalized communities, and to enhance affordability? 2. How is regulation is incentivizing service providers to adopt green, resilient, and climate-responsive solutions in water & sanitation service provision?
